It all started in early December 2021 — or so legend tells it! On the night of Hailey's 21st birthday, Justyn sent her a sweet birthday message online, which sparked a series of exchanges that spilled onto the next morning when they were both at FIU for their Fall semester final exams. Justyn asked Hailey if she would like to meet him at Chick-Fil-A for lunch, to which she ultimately agreed. What was expected to be a brief catch-up became a deep, intentional conversation lasting several hours. The two discussed all kinds of topics, learning more than they ever expected about each other and surprising themselves with the unusually organic flow of the personal conversations that took place. For the next couple of months, although they did not hang out or converse often, they found themselves at church serving together time and time again. Then in late February, Justyn made the official "first move" by inviting Hailey to join him at TopGolf with a couple of friends, with the intent of getting to know her more throughout the evening, although she didn't originally think more of the outing than it being friends just hanging out. After the night ended, she realized that there may have been more to the story than she had thought. Both Justyn and Hailey spent the next month and a half consulting with their friends about their growing feelings and interest in each other and taking hold of opportunities that presented themselves to see each other at church events and on casual dates, since they lived in total opposite areas of the County. On April 12, 2022, Justyn asked Hailey to be his girlfriend, to which she said "YES!" For over two and a half years, the two embarked on countless adventures which only made the love between them stronger. The couple has enjoyed spending time with family, serving in their church's ministries, visiting exciting places, and watching nonsensical reality shows. On November 16, 2024, the couple took a one-day trip to New York City, as Hailey had always dreamt of visiting during Autumntime and recreating moments from one of her favorite films, When Harry Met Sally. After a day of sightseeing through many beautiful locations, the two made their way to Central Park, where Justyn proposed amidst the beauty of peak Autumn foliage and breathtaking skyline views. More than the friendship they keep, the care they exchange, and the love they share, the most important aspect of their relationship has been keeping God in the center, both individually and collectively, since the beginning. God's goodness and blessings have been evident in their lives, and they thank Him for blessing their relationship the way He has time and time again. Now, Justyn and Hailey, these two best friends, will become one on November 14th, 2025, and they are incredibly grateful to have you join them in this new and beautiful chapter of their lives.
