Come Celebrate

It was meant to be! We grew up just down the street from one another, we attended the same schools (both middle and high school), our friendship was inevitable. If that wasn't enough, we even became teammates on the same cross-country teams. The next summer, we spent a lot of our time hiking, running, and getting a few too many Baha Blast Freezes from Taco Bell. From then on out, we were inseparable! Fun Fact: We never officially started dating and we cannot decide on an anniversary, so it is on a different date every year.

Our summers have always been filled with adventure and the summer of 2024 was no different. Instead of traveling across the US or overseas, we decided to stay in Virginia for our summer trip. Lake Moomaw, located in the Appalachian Mountains, has stunning hikes, gorgeous, clear blue water, and best of all, no cellular service. Jordan knelt on the sandy shore and proposed the first night we were there with an amazing sunset in the background. For three days, we camped, swam, hiked, ran, biked, and relaxed by the water with no access to the outside world. We simply enjoyed our engagement for ourselves. After the three days were up, we were eager to share the good news with our close family and friends.
