FAQs

You have questions. We have answers!
Question

Can I stay in an Airbnb instead of the hotel?

Answer

You are welcome to stay wherever works best for you, but if you’d like to use the transportation, please plan accordingly to get to one of the hotel pickup spots- Hilton Garden Inn Durham/Southpoint or Hilton Garden Inn Durham/University Medical Center.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies, think cocktail, midi or floor length dresses. Gentlemen, a suit or dress pants with a blazer is perfect- ties are optional.

Question

Is there transportation?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided to and from the Hilton Garden Inn Durham/Medical Center and the Hilton Garden Inn Durham Southpoint.

Question

Can we Uber/Lyft instead?

Answer

Yes! However, the venue is in a remote area so Ubers/Lyfts could be limited.

Question

Is There Parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the venue!

Question

Will the wedding take place outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, the reception indoors.

Question

can i bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We have chosen to make our special day adults-only. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us for our big day!

Question

can i take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony. Thank you!

For all the days along the way
