Friends and Family, Due to COVID possibly still being a threat, us not having or wanting to spend $30k+ to entertain other people, and several other reasons; Esteban and I have decided to Elope! We are gonna pack up, roadtrip across the southwest USA, and get married in Sedona AZ on October 31st, 2021.

On the last night of our Marfa trip, we decided we would get pizza and go to the Davis mountains state park and watch the sunset and stargaze, even though the day passes were sold out, we figured we would try anyways. We drove the most beautiful drive up there and were told the park was at capacity but the park ranger said there are beautiful views up towards the observatory that overlooked the mountains so we headed that way. We stopped at this picnic area that overlooked the mountains, it was beautiful. We ate our pizza and took some photos as the sun was setting and it was the most beautiful West Texas sunset I have ever seen. We were surrounded by mountains and silence, just enjoying each others presence. We took some polaroids that never developed and then he told me from the moment he first saw me at Tia Marias (the restaurant we met at) his life changed and that he loves everything about me. My past, my present and my future. And he got down on one knee, pulled out a coffin ring box, and asked me to marry him while the sun was setting behind the mountains. I said YES and we sat and watched the sunset and stargazed.
