When looking for the route on Google Maps or Apple Maps I would recommend taking the route through Orleans and Bloomington. This route is much less curvy and does not take you on as many back roads as the "quickest" route.
Unfortunately there are no extra rooms available as the wedding party and those staying to help set up/take down decorations are staying.
Yes! The nearest hotels are about a 15-minute drive from the castle. We, however, will not be providing paid rooms at theses hotels if you choose to get a hotel room.
You can RSVP on the tab on this website but you can also send in the RSVP card. It is really up to you as long as we hear back by the finalized date on both the card and the RSVP tab.
Absolutely! There is plenty of parking at the venue!
The wedding will be outdoors (weather permitting)
pastels and lighter colors are open besides the usual white, cream, and ivory.
If there is a plus one in you invitation you are more then welcome to. If there is no plus one provided then there are no extra invites offered. We are having a very small and intimate wedding and the venue we have chosen allows for only 60 guests.
If the children are on the invitation they are invited. If said children are not on the invitation then they are not due to venue capacities.
No, there will be no alcohol at the reception. The venue does not provide a bartender and does not allow us to bring our own alcohol. We have a smaller budget so we chose not to pay the expense of having a licensed bartender.
