Get a beer, get a pretzel, get a wiener, all at Dawes’ neighborhood brewery.
Get the little sandwiches. Trust us.
Our favorite pizza place in Missoula, also where we had our first dinner date on Valentine’s Day, 2018.
It’s all so good, but they really nail the vegan options too.
We stop here every time we visit Missoula. They always have something new to try, and I don’t think we’ve ever gotten a dish we didn’t like. So good.
One of the best breakfast places in town, featuring local and organic ingredients.
This is our favorite farmer’s market. Check it out Saturday morning. Wander around, grab a pastry, pick out some veggies, and listen to music. Stop by the Missoula Farmer’s Market on Higgins too!
Great beer, amazing live music, and they usually have a food truck outside. You can’t go wrong here.
The name says it all. It’s beautiful. Get your zen on.
PING PONG. Also Hailey’s favorite beer in Missoula. But PING PONG.
One of our favorite walking trails in Missoula - green and shaded, with Rattlesnake Creek running through it. This is also where Dawes proposed!
Amazing work by local artists, and entry is free! (At least at the time we’re writing this.)
Prefer mixed drinks over beer? Or just want to feel fancy? This is the place to be.
Knickknack planet and a record-collector’s dream. There’s something for everyone!
The “wee but mighty” movie theater of Missoula. If there’s one place on this list that truly deserves people’s patronage, it’s this little gem. From the fresh popcorn in reusable bowls to the warm and welcoming previews, The Roxy does everything right.
The sandwiches are delicious, but the pickles are mind-blowing.
If you’ve never been to the U, do yourself a favor. Take a walk around the grounds - you won’t be disappointed. There are numerous exhibits across campus, including the Montana Native Botanic Garden, which Dawes’ grandfather helped create!
