COVID-19 Info + FAQs

Here are some day-of Q+A's that might come up!
Question

Current N.C. COVID-19

Answer

N.C. is in Safer at Home Phase 3 as announced on Wednesday, September 30th. At this point, our Governor deems it safe to continue easing restrictions. Our overall test positive rate, hospitalizations, and number of cases are declining. We are happy to announce that we will be having our wedding as planned at Cedar Creek Ranch. We have taken the appropriate measures to be able to safely and comfortably accommodate all of our guests.

Question

COVID-19 Information

Answer

The venue is completely outdoors. The seats during the ceremony will be appropriately distanced so everyone can sit comfortably. The venue is laid out for our guests to be able to be as social as they'd like. There are tables to sit and eat out as well as extra seats lining the tent for those who'd like to distance themselves. We are still continuing our cocktail reception - we think this is the best way to allow our guests to enjoy themselves, socialize if they please, and still maintain their safety. There will be servers there to help our help with the buffet. All catering staff will be wearing masks and gloves to ensure your safety. There are multiple sanitizing stations around the venue and fear not, every chair and table provided by the venue has been thoroughly disinfected the morning of the wedding. Restrooms will be cleaned occasionally and disposable masks are available for those guests who would like to wear them.

Question

Mask Information

Answer

Currently, North Carolina is under a mask mandate. We are continuously updating our wedding plans to accommodate the current situation. The venue is required to post "wear a mask" signs at the entrance. All vendors are required to wear masks, especially those in food and beverage services. Guests may wear masks at their discretion (they must enter the venue with a mask, but can take it off if they please). Disposable masks will be provided to all guests who do not have one or would like one. Masks must be worn while in line for the buffet.

Question

When can I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at approximately 4:30pm so you are welcome to arrive as early as 4:00pm. There will be a greeter waiting for your arrival and transportation to bring you to your seat.

Question

Can I leave my car parked overnight at the venue?

Answer

Yes! We want you to enjoy yourself - call an Uber or Lyft. We ask that the car be picked up by 9am the next morning as the venue has other events on Sunday.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

To give us the most accurate guest count, we kindly ask that you RSVP by September 5th. If you need to cancel your RSVP or you can now attend, please let us know as soon as soon as possible so we can make the appropriate adjustments.

Question

Will there be an Open Bar?

Answer

Duh! It wouldn't be a party without an open bar!

Question

Are there food accommodations?

Answer

Yes! While it won't be a sit-down buffet, there will be plenty of food, including options for those vegetarian, gluten-free and/or diet restricted.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with everyone, but with our efforts to keep our wedding intimate, we ask that only kids in our immediate family join us. There will be further information for those family members when they RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. We do ask that you please refrain from wearing jeans and sneakers.
