Welcome to the start of our forever

To start off we went to high school together at Northwest Guilford High and lived in the same area as each other for years. Though, we were not friends in high school or even know of each other. Well, Carson knew of me because of course but I had no idea who he was or that he even went to our school. Which our graduating class was almost 500 people so I can't be faulted there. Despite living miles from each other for years and walking the same hallways everyday we first met our sophomore year of college at University of North Carolina - Charlotte. Carson moved into a student apartment with my really close guy friends at the same complex that I lived in. Once my guy friends told me who he was and showed me his picture I thought he was really cute. I was so awkward the first time I met him, he will tell you he remembers what I was wearing but I don't believe him. My guy friends made it very clear I could not try and date Carson because he was their roommate and I would make it weird so all my hopes of being with him drifted away. From there on out our friendship grew day by day to the point where we spent every day together as friends hanging out, grabbing lunch, watching movies, going out but we were just best friends. All of our friends thought we had to be secretly dating or secretly wanted to be together because of how much time we spent together. One day when we were back home, I took Knuckles over to Carson's family home to play in the backyard and I got to meet his whole family. Apparently when I left his Nonna told him he needed to keep an eye on me because I was a keeper. Yes, yes I am Nonna. Thank you for noticing. Eventually, we were hanging out one night and we got to talking about our friendship. Carson suggested we try dating, I was very weirded out by the statement but he insisted it would work out. He wanted to try holding my hand, I think I held my breath the whole time and did not say a single word. I was VERY awkward to say the least. But eventually, it became normal. When we transited from best friends to dating, it was easy because as friends we spent all of our free time together anyways. Now, we just held hands and kissed. We knew we were comfortable with each other and loving each other came natural to us since our love for each other grew during our friendship. We might not be married just yet but we have been a family our whole relationship. Me, Carson and Knuckles. We have always been a unit that come as one.
