We became friends in high school through our siblings and athletics. We were friends, lost touch, saw each other at a New Years Eve party and hung out on New Years Day with our siblings and friends. On New Years Day we kept making eye contact with each other and started talking again that night. From then on, we started talking nonstop and went out on our first date just a couple weeks later.

Our first date was January 19, 2024. We went for ice cream at Culver's and then drove around to talk the rest of the night. The next day Calvin moved to Alabama for a short 2-week work trip. When he got back, we spent most of our free time together. 2 Weeks later we started dating on February 14, 2024 (yes, Valentine's Day)! A short 2 weeks after we started dating, we started long distance since Calvin moved to Georgia for work. We did long distance for about a month before I went down with his family to visit for Easter. He came home shortly after, and we haven't been apart since!

In June of 2025 Calvin and I closed on our secluded, peaceful, and beautiful lot. Less than 2 months after our closing date, Calvin said we had to go and try to catch the surveyors out at the land to pay them and we left immediately when I got done with work. Driving up the road, I saw no work vans by our land and thought we must have missed them. We decided to get out to look at the "Survey Results" but walking around the Corner I stopped in my tracks when I saw the beautiful set up in the middle of the property. We walked over and Calvin popped the big question. I of course said yes! We spent a couple minutes by ourselves in awe of what just happened. We called a couple friends to surprise them, and then we met our families out for dinner just down the road! It was Perfect!!!
