Our relationship started on Bumble. Ben explained why he is banned from Airbnb, and from there, the rest is history. After a month of joking about how neither of us had ever seen the Arch from the top, that’s exactly what we did. A trip to the Arch for our first date turned into a ten-hour adventure—we explored most of the Lou and began our two-year medium-distance relationship. Rotating weekends and taking turns driving four hours across the state of Missouri, literally. Three years and two cats later Ben proposed in September 2025 on the beautiful island of Kauai. On our last night celebrating our engagement, we had dinner at The Beach House. We fell in love with the atmosphere and view, and now we cannot wait to say “I do” in that same spot.
