Great question! Hailey’s parents, Rob & Stacy, got married on one of the Stillwater River boats over 29 years ago! When deciding on a wedding venue, we figured we wanted something a bit unique and special for our families and friends. Plus, we both love the water! Stillwater holds a special place in our hearts and we are so excited to share all of the beautiful things about this town throughout our wedding weekend!
Yes! We will be on the upper deck for the ceremony (4th floor), which is completely open if weather permits. After the ceremony, we will have a cocktail hour and then flow into dinner, speeches, and dancing all on various floors of the boat!
The dress code is cocktail attire. For ladies, this typically means a formal midi/maxi dress. For gentlemen, you can wear suits or sport coats with dress pants. Since our celebration will take place on a boat in late September, we suggest checking the weather forecast beforehand to ensure you're prepared for potential temperature changes.
We absolutely love your little ones; however, since we are getting married on a boat and want to maintain safety for all of the guests, this will be an adults-only event (18+).
Please RSVP by July 31!
There will be limited parking available in the Stillwater River Boat parking lot. We encourage you to find parking in downtown Stillwater or use a ridesharing service!
To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your official invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!
Please arrive between 3:45-4:15 to find parking and board the boat! The boat will leave promptly at 4:30 and anyone not on will unfortunately be left on shore.
We'd love for you to be fully present during the ceremony, so we kindly ask that you put your phones away. Our professional photographer will capture all the beautiful moments of our I Do's! Feel free to take as many photos as you'd like before and after the ceremony.
