It all started at the pub at McDaniel College. Hailey was sitting with a group of friends, chatting and laughing while they waited for their food. Around the same time, Andrew walked in to grab something to eat and found himself waiting as well. Luckily for him, he spotted a couple of friends sitting at Hailey’s table. They waved him over, and he joined the group while everyone waited for their orders. At first, Andrew and Hailey didn’t talk much. But Hailey definitely noticed him. As she sat across the table, she remembers thinking to herself that he was pretty cute. Once the food was ready, everyone finished up and headed out of the pub. But Hailey wasn’t quite ready for the moment to end. Curious to learn more about the cute guy her friends had invited over, she asked one of them if Andrew had Snapchat. Without hesitation, she grabbed her friend’s phone and sent Andrew a message telling him to add both her and her friend. That small, slightly bold message turned out to be the start of something pretty special—and the beginning of the story that led us here today.
