Hailey and Andrew met doing Disaster Relief for Hurricane Helene victims in Boone, NC and surrounding towns. They were both supposed to be across the U.S. at the time - Andrew in Michigan and Hailey in Texas, but God had other plans. A lady met Andrew in the church they did safety orientations in, made a simple statement: "You need to meet Hailey" and led him right over to her. They had one date and both knew that this time, it was different. Four months later, they're engaged and giving all glory to the Lord who designed and orchestrated their love story. All praise be to God.

Hailey and Andrew plan to be based out of Dallas, Texas and continue doing Disaster Relief with Samaritan's Purse together. They will be sent out as a team when disasters hit and continue to serve the Lord and people in need together. The work that they do isn't just about helping people with their physical needs but about helping with their spiritual ones as well. If you've ever lost something or someone you loved, you'd know that in those moments of loss you don't need something temporary that can easily be lost again - what you need is something that lasts. Something eternal. That something is a person and His name is Jesus.
