The first time we met was at one of his house parties in college. She was trying to escape the festivities to the kitchen, where he was the "bartender". This is where we sparked a deep conversation. She was enamored by his humor and southern hospitality, while he was captivated by her beauty and intrigued by her reluctance to entertain him. This was the start of our friendship. We would see each other out throughout the rest of the school years, but the connection soon faded into salutations as time went on. That is until he texted her out of the blue a few years later. The rest - as they say - was history.

A day before his birthday, Aman got Hailey's friends and family together at a local winery. This was supposedly a celebration of his birthday. As the drinks and merriment progressed, the whole family worked together to make this surprise epic. Her sister and MOH, Cassidy, and her mother, Sharon, hurried her away to take pictures supposedly. As Hailey's Dad snuck the ring to Aman, Hailey was utterly oblivious. She looked over at Aman, and he was down on one knee. She grabbed his face and said yes to forever.
