AJ first laid eyes on Hailey in Feburary of 2013. They met at Eastside Lounge for a dart tournament. Hailey was wearing a shirt with the name Christina on it, which AJ assumed was her name until the next time they met. They met again at another youth event before they began chatting and hanging out prior to AJ and Jobins travel to their first national dart competition. After celebrating his graduation, Aj began bar-tending at his parents bar, I Don't Care. Shorty after he left for the Air Force where him and Hailey corresponded by letter while he was in training. On July 22nd of 2018 the couple married. On August 15th of 2015 Hailey moved to be with AJ in Alaska; where he soon officially proposed on their favorite mountain over looking the town. The couple has happily lived in Alaska for 3 years now where they currently own a home and stay actively involved in their community.
