A few years prior to us meeting, Blake had broken his nose trying to field a ground ball at his baseball game. Luckily for me, Blake didn't know his nose was broken so he didn't get it checked out. Fast forward two years, Blake went to the doctor and his nose had in fact been broken for quite awhile at this point. The doctors decided they wanted to do surgery to fix it. The best thing about our story is we had known each other all our lives! Our grandparents had been best friends forever and so our families had always kept in touch over the years. It wasn't until July fourth 2016, that Blake and I were ready to "meet". My family bumped into the May's at IHOP where they were celebrating Blake's older sisters birthday. This is where I learned that Blake was having nose surgery. A couple days pass and my mom had told me that Blake had made it out of is surgery fine and he was doing well. I decided I was going to reach out to him to see how he was doing ( I did also think he was pretty cute ). We ended up talking until 3 in the morning and from that day, Blake and I have been inseparable since.
