Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are getting married outside so wear what is comfortable for you! Avoid heels if you can as you might get stuck in the grass. Feel free to bring warm clothes to change into later!

What food will be served?

Answer

4:00 PM: appetizers will be served at cocktail hour. 6:00PM: buffet dinner starts with chicken, salmon, multiple salads and veggies with dessert to follow. A late night snack will also be provided. If you have dietary needs that require a personalized meal, please let us know by emailing haileighfletcher@dal.ca so we can order a special meal for you!

What alcohol will be served?

Answer

4:00 PM: We will have free beer and wine during our cocktail hour. 6:00 PM: There will be wine on the table for dinner. 8:00PM: The reception will have a toonie bar selling beer, cider and vodka sodas. Due to our liquor license, we cannot allow outside alcohol at the venue.

Will there be parking?

Answer

There will be parking at the venue on the grass. You are more than welcome to pick up your car the following day if needed.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There a a few options for places to stay! The Greensboro Inn and the Slumber Inn are located in New Minas. The Old Orchard Inn and Blomidon Inn are in Wolfville. There are also a few Airbnbs in Kentville!

Is your wedding adults only?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named in the invitation. When you search your name when you RSVP, all the members of your party who are invited will be named.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We have chosen not to have a registry. We sincerely do not need material items, and your presence at our wedding is present enough for us! However, if you would like to help us start our married life, a monetary contribution would be greatly appreciated.
