We met on February 24th, 2024 at our home Church - Glad Tiding’s! It was a local serve day and Nate was in town visiting family from pastoring out at the Central Coast at the time. Hailee had just started attending Glad Tiding’s as well as being on staff there. Very little words were exchanged that day, but, ya know.. the rest is history.

Our first time getting to intentionally connect was over coffee at Hola Cafecito. We sat there talking for over 3 hours. It’s still to this day one of our favorite memories together. God sure knows what He’s doing.

Hailee was fully convinced we were just taking 1 year anniversary photos. There was some slight suspicion here and there, but that quickly faded and she was just in anniversary photo mode. I proposed during our photoshoot in the same town where I asked Hailee to be my girlfriend a little over a year prior.
