We’re getting married!

Hailee and Micah met in high school back in 2014. Hailee was a freshman and Micah was a junior. There was flirting here and there between the two passing each other in the hallways but never anything serious. Micah even ended up asking Hailee to prom his senior year, but unforutnately she was unable to go due to a prior engangement. Fast forward to the summer of 2019, Hailee decided to fish a bass fishing tournament with her daddy, and won! Micah was impressed, gave Hailee her prize money and a week later was asking her out on a date. One date night turned into two, and then turned into forever.

Hailee and Micah had been discussing for several weeks that their families should get together and have a “get to know each other”cookout. After a few rescheduled dates, on May 15, the two families gathered at Hailee’s parent’s house on the lake for an afternoon party. After about an hour of fellowship Maggie called Hailee over to play with Lynleigh on the ground. Still sitting on the ground with Lynleigh, Hailee turned around to see Micah down on one knee, holding the the most beautiful ring in a navy blue velvet box. Neither Hailee or Micah remembers what he said ( too full of nerves and excitement ) other than “let’s be best friends forever” but that’s all Hailee needed to hear. She cried, nodded her head, then cried some more. Micah planned everything that day perfectly, from having both of their families (minus a few important members) share that special moment with us, to having a sweet friend and former teacher of theirs capture the best moment of their lives on camera.
