We met at Ideal! Elliott was a regular and we developed a friendship. One day the specials chalkboard was ruined, and he started joking around asking where it was. Hailee got upset, so Elliott took the chalkboard home. He tried to repaint it and fix it, but it wouldn’t work so he went and bought a new one. The next morning, the girls working gave Elliott Hailee’s phone number to send a picture of her new chalkboard & the rest is history!

While Hailee & Elliott were vacationing in Ogunquit, Maine, Elliott suggested a walk on the infamous Marginal Way after a perfect day of reading on the beach. Halfway down the trail, Elliott asked Hailee to sit on a bench to look out at the ocean and appreciate the scenery. After sitting for a few minutes, when they got up and walked to the backside of the bench, Elliott got down on one knee and gave the speech of a lifetime that concluded with a proposal. Hailee said yes before he was even finished asking, and when he was finished asking, she realized that not only were her siblings there to celebrate, but so was a photographer! They had a photo shoot immediately following and then went to a romantic dinner. It was perfect!
