We know traveling to a wedding in another country can feel overwhelming, so we’ve outlined a few options to get from the airport to the wedding area near Città di Castello.
Whether you fly into Florence or Rome, you can choose from the following:
1. Rent a Car
Gives you flexibility to explore. An International Driving Permit (AAA) is required. Automatics are limited and more expensive than manuals.
2. Private Transfer
Stress-free direct ride from Florence or Rome. Recommended: Transfeero or Tuscany Excursions.
3. Train
Fast and easy.
From Florence: train from Firenze SMN to Arezzo (~30–40 min).
From Rome: train to Arezzo (~3 hrs).
From Arezzo, take a taxi or bus to Città di Castello. Tickets: Trenitalia or ItaliaRail.
4. Shared Transport
We’re organizing group vans/buses from Florence. Cost shared. Reach out to Dylan with flight info if interested. Departure likely midday. Please confirm by August 29th.
