Our first date went flawlessly. We had gone out to a wonderful dinner, enjoyed each others company, chatted for a good long while, then went on our way. After the long stretch of three years, Chris and I finally started chatting again. I had needed help finding a motorcycle, and who better than Chris Morris? Our "Bike Day" of fun turned into a several hour long date - much to my denial - and the spark ignited. Disc golf and street bikes gave us excuses to see each other, and after just over month and now into June, a trip to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and a matchbox Chevrolet Camaro, we started dating. The following February we went on a Caribbean cruise with the rest of my family, and little did I know that it would be far more special than initially planned. On the sandy beaches of Aruba, in the midst of a peaceful walk with the cerulean waves and rustle of the trees, Chris gave me a long, tight hug before bending to one knee. My initial reaction? Pushing him and expelling, "What?! No!" Why, my family was right there! As the shock spread across his face I realized I hadn't quite spoken correctly, and with another tight huge I corrected myself with a "yes". We had seemed to know since month one, it seemed, we were meant to be. I hadn't quite thought soul mates were a thing in this world, but... seems like they are quite a real thing.
