Maid of Honor
Hello! I am the oldest Murphy sister and will therefore not be sharing any hailee content here. I’ll be saving that for the speeches ✨All I’ll say: I love Hailee immensely. Michael and I don’t go way back (shame - I’ve seen some fantastic photos and heard great stories of young Michael), but it sure feels like we do. Since day one, I’ve seen Michael dive in to our circle. He’s there for meals, vacations, movies, games, dishes, errands, roller coasters, and trivia - to name a few. Even better - he’s been there for Garrett and I and our kids. Gosh, we are lucky. I am incredibly excited to welcome him in as a brother (officially; Michael, you already know you’re in). I cannot wait to celebrate these two with all of you!
Maid of Honor
Hailee and I are both the middle sisters, and sharing that role has been a gooood time. There are so many things to say about Hails, and now about the duo her and Michael are together. When you know her, you are known. She is pure kindness, in the way she hugs, listens, works, and loves. Michael can match her with his sincerity, in everything he does and says. He is so intentional about time spent with people, no matter what it is. I can't believe how lucky I am to call him a brother. See you all on the dance floor, Michael has nothing on me...

Hailee and I met through mutual friends at youth group and have only grown closer over the years! She is my favorite adventure buddy and she is one of the few ladies I can laugh for hours on end with. Whether it be long chats in a local coffee shop or climbing the mountains on Kauai, time with Hailee is always time well spent. It brings my heart much joy as she joins together with Mike for their own life of laughter and adventures together!

I met Hailee when I was a Young Life leader and she was a student. We were in the same cabin at Fall camp and it was the beginning of a fun relationship. Over the years, it morphed into a really cool friendship. How could it not? Hailee is one of the most encouraging, fun and kind people I know. Michael and I met when I became friends with his best friend since 4th Grade, Hayden. (Spoiler Alert: we’re married now.) This friendship with Michael has become one of the biggest blessings in my life - he’s more like my brother. He’s been there for me in some really difficult times, he’s always willing to lend a helping hand. We’ve also had some of the most fun times I can remember. I am so thankful that this world is so “small.” That two of my favorite people met, fell in love and are getting married! I can’t wait to celebrate these two and the love between them!

Best Man
My name is Hayden Davison. I am the BM for this wedding. I have known the MG Train since we were in 4th grade. My first memory of Mike was my first day attending 4th grade in Eagle River. He was assigned by the substitute teacher that day to show me around school. Shortly after we became friends. Mike, Ryan Blakely, and I would spend our recesses playing Pokémon on the swings. (Mike and Ryan would play and I would try to see their Gameboy screens over their shoulders as I wasn’t allowed to bring mine to school.) My first memory of Hailee was sitting next to her in the back of the gym at Green Bay Community church during a family movie night. Most of the time we were commiserating with each other about having grown up as pastor’s kids. Mike has always been like a brother to me. He came on every family vacation, and we have pretty much done everything together since 4th grade. I am so glad that he and Hailee have found each other. My wife and I love Hailee and are so glad that she has fit into our family and friend group so easily. She is a wonderful and caring soul. I like my eggs fried in a slice of bread with salt and pepper.

In the year of ‘15 Hailee became my sis, When I married her sister On our day of bliss. Words cannot capture Hailee’s spirit pure, But our kith and our kin For life will endure. I met the great Mike Several years later, One bad movie take And I feared him a hater. But that good lady fortune Smiled upon our fate, And on his wedding day I shall stand as his mate. There isn’t a lad Of comparable wit or flair, And if he passes the exam Next suitor beware.

Hello, I’m Lucas (popularly known as Hailee’s favorite brother-in-law). I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Hailee over the last 8(!) years, and over that time I’ve really grown to cherish our friendship--particularly our shared love of gift giving, greeting hugs, and Harry Potter. She’s an unmitigated delight and I can’t wait to celebrate with her on the big day. But now for Michael… As I’ve always said, if you can trust a man with your keyboard levels, you can trust him with your life. And as such, Michael and I have some serious trust issues to work out (just kidding). Michael’s been a welcome addition to the family and my life. I value his depth of character and his ability to really show up for those who need him. I also admire his comprehensive understanding of cinema—it’s beyond just fun, casual movie reviews, he truly enriches my perspective with his insights and observations. Michael is the best of all of us, and I believe he will salvage the Murphy family name that Garrett and I have slowly and surely tarnished. So, yeah, yeah, happy for their marriage and all that—but mostly happy for me, because I get to call this man brother.

Let’s play a game of two truths and a lie. 1.) Michael forced our friendship through an invasion of personal space and non reciprocal butt touching. 2.) Michael and I bonded through late nights of playing board games at a bar. 3.) Michael loves me more than Hailee. I was friend-adjacent for a long time with both Michael and Hailee through mutual college friends and church. We ran in the same circles but my friendship with Michael didn’t start until he invited me to play an 8-10 hour board game and lead high school ministry together. I then hosted my own board games nights at Badger State Brewery, and it became a weekly appointment of games and life chats for Michael and me. Our bromance has been going strong ever since. My civil acquaintanceship with Hailee also started at Badger when she “coincidentally” came to a few game nights, and then religiously started attending. And who also HAPPENED to be there?..Michael Thomas Gabriel! So, you’re welcome Hailee? Although I was oblivious to the love forming right in front of my board games, I’m excited to be able to witness this covenant they will step into with God. Truly grateful to have gained a great friend and a Hailee, who will never beat me in games, especially Bananagrams, no matter how hard she tries. I’m most excited to crush her in laser tag:) I like my eggs barely hard boiled, and cracked open on the legs of Sierra during floating trips on the Peshtigo. IYKYK.

One of the 1st times I saw Michael was in a shark suit during a HSM obstacle course..very funny and worried about his mental state. 1st impression of Hailee is her heart felt smile. An amazing memory is taking our HSM small group to Thomas Ashley's cabin for the weekend. Another memory is Michael and Hailee coming to visit the Wrights in St Louis. What I love about him is how honest and upfront we can be together. I am excited for dancing and music and seeing Michael kiss a woman multiple times in a day in public. I like my eggs fried hard in cast iron pan.

Michael and I met in the early 2010’s when I was attending school at UW-Green Bay. With aspirations of one day exploring canyon country, we would joyride in Jeep Wranglers, sipping on Arby’s Jamocha shakes in the hot sun. I enjoy my eggs scrambled with some salt and pepper. My favorite memory of Michael and Hailee is when the gang all went out for Michael’s Birthday in Green Bay shortly before they started dating. I could feel the energy in the air and the affection they shared for one another was palpable. When Michael called me to let me know he was engaged, I was over moon. Michael and Hailee truly had connected quickly and their love was true. I am honored to be in the wedding party and know that Michael and Hailee will have a blessed marriage. Michael, I am so happy for you and I cannot wait to retell wonderful stories about this magical event. Michael and Hailee, please enjoy your big day!

I’ve known Mike longer than anyone else. A few memories come to mind...Watching Aladdin in his basement for his birthday party literally 27 times, someone would wake up and press play again over and over and over. Playing pretend at elementary school recess to Final Fantasy 9 while people were confused if we were fighting or not. When we “dated” each other’s “girlfriend’s” best friend in 3rd grade and both of us were completely oblivious to what that meant, or the horrors to come from that term 😂. Walking around downtown Eagle River at night “Hey….I feel like the reservoir dogs right now”. Bob’s wedding. THEY RAN OUT OF ROSCATO. What I love about Michael: Everything. Mike is the longest, oldest friend I’ve had whether it be when I was in Eagle River, moving around the country chasing my dreams, or perusing my current career he’s always been supportive and has genuinely told me some of the most heart felt nicest things anyone has ever told me. I’m the worst at staying in touch with people and always put work first but Mike is one of those people no matter how much time has passed or how much we’ve grown we immediately pick up where we left off like we haven’t missed a beat and that’s rare. His respect, admiration, and friendship is something I value extremely high and is 100% mutual between us. He is steadfast, reliable, loyal, and one of the best people to have in your corner AND funny, what isn’t there to love? How do I like my eggs? Ham cheese onion pepper omelet.

My name is Alec, I'm one of Mike's older brothers. I met Mike when he was born and I met Hailee during Christmas of 2020. There are so many memories with Mike. We used to pile all of our stuffed animals, blankets, pillows, and all the soft stuff I our room, at the bottom of our bunk bed, then roll off the top of the bed and just to the bottom landing on the pile. We would do this multiple times a day until our mom or dad would come in and tell us to stop. Then we just do a couple more times and then stop. One great memory with Hailee was talking and having a good time that first Christmas I met her! Hailee seems to be just as strong minded and determined as my wife is, which is what is needed to handle a Gabriel. She seems like someone that won't back down easy. Mike is tenacious and just as stubborn and level headed as he has always been. I am excited about seeing my younger brother finally being with and marrying someone who will temper him and truly does love him and cares for him. How do I like my eggs? Tornado Omelette. I've been working on my version of this for years as a chef. Bust it a really fun and delicious way to eat eggs. Excited to meet you all at the wedding!
