FAQs

The Wedding Website of Hailee Smentkowski and Cameron Egan
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly submit your RSVP no later than Wednesday, June 16, 2027. We ask that all guests respond by this date, as we must provide a final headcount to our venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We invite our guests to dress in formal attire for our special day. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits or tuxedos, while ladies may opt for floor-length gowns, formal dresses, or sophisticated cocktail attire.

Question

How do we get to the top of the mountain for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will board Mountain Creek’s Cabriolet gondola (pictured above), located next to Red Tail Lodge and the Appalachian Hotel, for a scenic six-minute ride up the mountain to our ceremony. Each enclosed gondola accommodates up to eight people, with Mountain Creek staff assisting guests as they board. Chairs are available upon request for those who prefer to sit during the ride. The Cabriolet is wheelchair accessible. Following the ceremony, guests will ride the Cabriolet back down to Red Tail Lodge for the celebration!

Question

When will the gondola be available for wedding guests?

Answer

The first ride up will be at 4:15 PM and the last ride will be at 4:45 PM. The gondola runs continuously between these times and load about every 30 seconds. After 4:45 PM, wedding guests will no longer be able to board the gondola and attend the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Wedding guests may park in the lot directly in front of Red Tail Lodge, on the mountain side of the road. There is no need to park across the street. Hotel guests may use the gated parking garage next to the Appalachian Hotel.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

No transportation is needed, as the Appalachian Hotel is located on-site at Mountain Creek, conveniently near Red Tail Lodge and the ceremony area.
