We're getting married!

Some love stories start in cafes, others at work. Ours? It began in the most millennial way possible: through an online dancing game called "Audition." Yes, really! Back in 2016, while our avatars were busting moves across pixels, we found ourselves drawn into conversations that lasted longer than any dance battle. In a charmingly meta twist, we even got married in the game first – a digital dress rehearsal for what was to come. As our virtual connection deepened, reality caught up. On November 22, 2016, we made it official in the real world, though 380 miles of California coastline separated Oakland from Los Angeles. The distance became our dance partner – a constant rhythm of airport reunions and tearful goodbyes, with more flights than we can count. Love frequent flyer miles? We sure did. Summer 2018 brought the plot twist we'd been waiting for. During a visit to Oakland on July 3rd, he proposed. No elaborate flash mobs or skywriting planes – just a pure, simple moment that made my heart skip a beat. Sometimes the most beautiful moments come wrapped in simplicity. Later that month, we closed the distance for good, making Los Angeles our shared home. Since then, I've been dreaming of the day we'd celebrate our love with everyone we hold dear. On May 17, 2025, that dream becomes reality. From dancing pixels to wedding bells, our story proves that love finds its way – even through a computer screen. Who knew that clicking "play" on a dance game would lead to clicking "I do"?
