Hai was looking for a fresh start in the windy city and Mai was beginning to build her life in America, when in December 2013, the two fatefully met in the Analytics department at work.  Despite Hai’s inability to write any accurate line of code, the pair immediately hit it off.  Though it wasn’t until the company had Mai relocate to Charlotte, NC that they began to date—a 2 year long distance relationship.  After moving back to Chicago and eventually into the same home, Mai and Hai have since traveled and hiked all over the world together.

It was September 21, 2019 on top of Rocky Mountain National Park, that Mai (with an astute ability for predictive modeling) was absolutely surprised when Hai asked her to be his wife.  Looking forward to the next chapter in their life together, they are excited to be getting married and being able to spend that momentous day with all the people that they care most for in the world.
