FAQs

The Wedding Website of Haley Haggard and Christopher Johnson
Question

Do I need to attend every event?

Answer

Not at all! Outside of the ceremony and our shared meals, the rest of the weekend is open for you to explore, relax, and enjoy the mountains. We want this to feel like a vacation, not a packed schedule — join what feels good to you.

Question

What’s the overall vibe of the weekend?

Answer

Relaxed, cozy, and unhurried. Think: spending time together, enjoying fall in the mountains, and celebrating without rushing around. We’ll have a few planned gatherings, and the rest is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

Question

Where are events taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony is at Sapphire Point Overlook on Thursday evening. All other gatherings and meals will take place at our Airbnb in the Breckenridge area (address shared closer to the weekend).

Question

What’s the schedule?

Answer

Thursday evening: Ceremony → drinks & appetizers → catered dinner at the Airbnb Friday morning: Catered brunch at the Airbnb Friday 1PM – Saturday 4PM: Free time to explore (see 'Things To Do' page) Saturday evening: Catered dinner + send-off celebration Sunday: Goodbyes & travel day

Question

Where should I fly into?

Answer

Most guests will find the best flights and prices into Denver International Airport (DEN). Denver is the closest major airport, and it’s typically about a 2-hour drive to Breckenridge depending on traffic and weather.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are tons of hotels, lodges, and Airbnbs of all sizes in the Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon, and Silverthorne areas. Whether you want walkability, quiet cabin vibes, or a big rental for a group, you’ll find something that fits. We recommend booking early — fall is popular!

Question

What should I do during free time?

Answer

Check out the Things To Do section on our website! There are options for all ages and interests — scenic walks, hikes, coffee shops, breweries, shopping, playgrounds, spas, and day trips. We’ll likely break into smaller groups based on what everyone feels like doing.

Question

How’s the weather in October?

Answer

Cool mornings and evenings, comfortable afternoons, and possibly some rain. Pack layers, a warm jacket, and comfy shoes — you’ll likely want them.

Question

What should I know about the altitude?

Answer

Breckenridge is high elevation. Drink water often, take it easy your first day, and don’t be surprised if you feel a little extra tired. Hydration and rest help a lot!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Not for most of the weekend — we recommend renting a car or carpooling. We’ll share carpool/shuttle guidance for the ceremony since parking at Sapphire Point is limited.
