Both the ceremony and reception will take place at A Kings Lodge on Clabo Rd in Wears Valley, TN.
We simply ask that you don’t wear jeans or sneakers! We want you to be comfortable, but neat, there will be lots of photos and videos being taken! It is important to note that we are planning for our ceremony AND reception to be outdoors in November, so it would be best to avoid stiletto heels, and bring a jacket just in case!
We are planning to have an outdoor ceremony AND reception! Tennessee weather in November can range from 50°-70°. We will be providing space heaters under the covered pavilion, but we do ask that you prepare accordingly and bring layers! If all else fails, we will be moving the party inside the lodge.
Yes, there is parking for everyone!
While you are free to bring as many people as you want to Tennessee, due to limited space we are only able to accommodate a limited number of guests at the lodge. We have taken the time to write how many seats have been reserved for each guest.
Kyle and I are registered through amazon. You can either find it by clicking the 'Registry' tab on our website, or by following this link, " https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/hagertyrodiawedding "
Typically, it can range from about 50° to 70° in the beginning of November. Tennessee weather can be very unpredictable. Our best piece of advice is to bring layers. We will be providing patio heaters during the ceremony and reception just in case, and there is also a covered pavilion. If all else fails and it is too cold, or any other unpredictable weather event happens, we will move the reception indoors!
Oops! We all make mistakes. Our ceremony start time is still TBD :)
Please RSVP before September 15th. We must get a head count for food and our venue, so unfortunately if you do not RSVP by then, it will be assumed as a ‘no’ and a seat will NOT be available for you.
We will allow guests to take photos once Kyle and I are both at the arbor, aka a social media minute. We kindly ask guests to place their phones on silence and wait until our officiant gives the “okay” to take a quick photo. Other than that, we will be having an “unplugged ceremony” where we will ask guests to turn phones on silent and put them away. We want to see your smiling faces, not your cell phones! During our reception, we are HIGHLY encouraging you to take photos! We want as many photos of the night as possible, so don’t be afraid to snap any photos you want!
We will miss you greatly! The best way to help us out would be to RSVP ‘no’ as soon as possible.
Please see our “Travel” tab to see hotels in the area. We have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn near Pigeon Forge/Dollywood, but have other hotels listed. There are also many airbnbs in the area depending on what you are looking for.
