Although we've technically known each other for years, our paths did not cross too often. We were both getting out of long-term relationships and happened to stumble across a hidden area of Facebook after we changed our relationship statuses. A new icon appeared at the bottom of our apps and eventually we both gave in to the persistent red dot, drawing our eyes. Luckily enough for us, we never ended up being friends on Facebook or this story might not have began (unless Amie hooked us up later, lol). One cold winter Sunday, Shannon came across a familiar face (this guy!) and reached out to my cousin, Amie, her long time friend. "Is it ok if I match with your cousin?" That question was all it took. Five days later we were on our first date, followed quickly by dates two and three the next day. As they say, "the rest was history". Now we're here, happier than ever and getting married! We are so very lucky to have found the loves of our lives on an app that most people didn't know existed. We look forward to our future as the Hagerty-Sisk family!
