Believe it or not, we met online. We don’t have the most romantic story ever, but its ours, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. We talked on and off for 2 YEARS before we even met in person! David was living up in Muncie and I was in Eminence, distance just wasn’t in our favor. Then, one night, in May of 2018, he reached out. Funny thing is that this time, we were BOTH living in Indy! Hours after finding out we were in the same town, we finally met each other. We talked for hours! I had never talked to someone about so much, so quickly, in my entire life. After that is history. He couldn’t get enough of me, lol :D. He invited me over for dinner 4 nights in a row! Here we are, several years later, and he still cooks me dinner.

For Christmas, David surprised me with a weekend getaway to the Tropicana Casino in Evansville. I had been wanting to go forever, so this was the perfect gift! That Saturday was full of adventures. We had brunch at the cutest place, went putt putting and played arcade games, went shopping, had lunch at this beautiful spot on the river, and finally had dinner at one of the nicest restaurants I had ever been to. This place had a large lobby area, so David thought we should take some pictures. I wasn’t thinking anything of it because he recorded our entire day on his go-pro. Here we are taking pictures and the next thing I know he is on one knee, asking me to be his wife. That night, I lost all of my money at the casino, but I left with an incredible Fiance. You could definitely say I hit the jackpot that weekend.
