Uptown Normal is located at the heart of ISU's campus. Festivals and many other unique events are held here for every season of the year. It is also home to many unique shops and restaurants, as well as the Children's Discovery Museum.

Uptown Normal

Miller Park probably offers the greatest variety of activities of any park in Bloomington-Normal. The park area itself is beautiful and has hosted its fair share of parades and other events. There is a small spray park for kids (or adults, if that's your thing), and right next door is the Miller Park Zoo. The park is also home to a small "beach," amphitheater, and various other sights.
