Because the weather is a little chilly we will switch the coffee doughnut hangout to our suite (401 in the Suquamish Casino Resort) at 9am. It has a very large space for hanging out, we’d love to have you come by!

Things To Do

We're so excited to share some of our favorite activities to do while you're in Seattle.
Mount Rainier National Park

Mount Rainier National Park

Hike Sunrise, Paradise, or Longmire!, WA

If you love hiking and birding, there are breathtaking alpine meadows, forests of giant old-growth trees, and glacial ice fields waiting to be explored just a couple of hours from downtown Seattle. Notable birds in the park include Sooty Grouse, White-tailed Ptarmigan, Black Swift, and several species of owls.

Alki Beach

Alki Beach

Seattle, WA 98116

Visit Rochelle's old stomping grounds, she first fell in love with the city of Seattle. We recommend walking along Alki beach to the lighthouse at the end. We've seen orcas, seals and sea lions, and many birds from this beach. It's also one of Christian's favorite places to scuba dive in Seattle.

Hurricane Ridge

Hurricane Ridge

Port Angeles, WA

Hurricane Ridge lies within the beautiful Olympic National Park, offering alpine trails full of wildflowers, vistas of the water, and friendly mountain goats. For a challenging off-trail adventure, you could try to summit Mt. Angeles. This is where Rochelle was CERTAIN she was going to get proposed to, but Christian had an entirely different plan :) Be sure to check weather reports before visiting, as snow is possible at 5,000 feet!

Bainbridge Island Ferry

Bainbridge Island Ferry

Seattle Ferry Terminal, Seattle, WA 98104

Ride the ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island! Grab a cup of Ivar's clam chowder from the upper deck cafeteria, and watch the gulls fly around the boat as you make the journey to Bainbridge Island.

Paddle on Lake Union

Paddle on Lake Union

2100 Westlake Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109
, (206) 281-9694

Rent stand-up paddleboards or kayaks from NW Outdoor Center (phone number listed) and paddle around this beautiful lake.
