Anyone who knows them wouldn't be surprised to learn that Kim and Kevin's love story first took root amidst sequins, feathers, plumes, and, of course, music. Fate, over the long course of history, ultimately drove two families toward the neighborhood of Port Richmond and into the ranks of the Polish American String Band, and that is where our story begins. With their families acquainted through the band, Kim and Kevin knew of one another, but Kim's unexpected and meteoric rise to celebrity status from her appearance on Food Network's Cake Wars captured Kevin's attention, and the beginnings of a love story began to emerge. A chance encounter here and there in the ensuing months led to a relationship that found its core in an immediate, honest, and true friendship cemented in the bonds of mutual trust, respect, and love. On an unexpectedly rainy evening on the beach in Cape May, Kevin asked if Kim if she could truly make him the luckiest man in the world. She said yes, and they continue their incredible journey through life together making lasting memories and friendships along the way. As it was music that brought them together, Kim and Kevin believe that all of life is a love song, and on November 30, 2019, they would like all of you to please help them write their next verse.
