We highly recommend guests to stay in Puebla’s historic center as there is much more to see and do within walking distance. There are hotels in every budget within Puebla and it is just a 20 minute uber ride to the venue in Cholula. Here are a few recommendations: - Cartesiano (this is where we will be staying) - Banyan Tree - Casona De Los Sapos
Flight
This airport will be the largest airport near Puebla. From there you can either rent a car, book a private shuttle, or take the bus to Puebla. Depending on your method of transportation this journey will take 1:30-2 hours.
Travel Note
We highly recommend using a bus to get to Puebla from CDMX, as the buses are very safe and reliable. There are buses located directly in terminal 1 of the CDMX international airport. The bus station is located on the 2nd floor and you can purchase tickets the same day for about $25 USD. Make sure to use either Estrella Roja or ADO as these are considered 1st class buses and do not make any stops. Buses run every 20 minutes to Puebla and you will want to arrive at the Terrapuerto Paseo Destino location. From there you can take an Uber anywhere within Puebla.
Flight
This airport will take you directly to Puebla, however it is a bit small so there may be several connecting flights/limited choices if you were to choose this option.
