Where and when will the wedding be taking place?

How do we get there?

Answer

Pappy and Harriet's is north west of Joshua Tree National Park. Palm Springs Airport is the closest airport, LAX and Orange County are also options, but will require a car rental. There might be a few shuttles, which we will have more information for closer to the wedding. We love all of you and care about you, so we want everyone to be able to get to and from the wedding safely. Please have a designated driver. Please please please do not drink and drive!

What time will the wedding start?

The wedding will start promptly at 12:30pm and will be over by 5pm. There will be an optional afterparty at the Joshua Tree Inn, a 15 minute drive from Pappy and Harriet's.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Where to stay: - We will have room blocks in local hotels. More info coming. - Pioneertown Motel shares a parking lot with the venue & is a great choice. - Palm Springs offers lots of options. Note - it's approximately a 40 minute drive to Pappy & Harriet's from Palm Springs - Twentynine Palms is close by and has lots of options - Airbnb & VRBO are great options and an opportunity to turn the wedding into a weekend away with the family. The area has a lot of options for homes and estates to rent for the week / weekend.

What will the weather be like?

Expect it to be sunny and cold. The high desert in November can be very cold and windy, especially at night.

What should I wear?

Answer

We are asking for cocktail attire. Be mindful that it will be cold and the floor is going to be mostly dirt. So wear nice clothes, but maybe not too nice. =)

What should we expect in terms of food?

Answer

The food will be provided by Pappy and Harriet's. BBQ buffet style, with vegetarian and vegan options. Don't worry, there will be an open bar.

Will there be entertainment?

Answer

Duh! There will be music, dancing, a super special performance by Dean & Britta, and lots of other things to see and do.
