Haejin illustrated and lived her colorful New York life. Ryan was single for his 20s and stumbled across the book 'all about love' by bell hooks. Both swiped right on Tinder, and Haejin's friend Paige recognized Ryan as a customer of the coffee shop she worked at. They planned their first date on a Tuesday afternoon at a tea shop in Brooklyn :)

We are movers and have been searching for our place, and our artistry has always lead our way. Together we create the future we want to build, and always support each other's artist practices. We're in search of our ideal home and place, one with nature, art, yummies, and walkability. Currently we're in New Haven, CT, where Haejin is attending Yale University for her MFA.

Ryan proposed to Haejin while living in the Bay Area, and they decided to have a small elopement at the City Hall in San Francisco. Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera married there too! Ryan's parents attended the ceremony. We always planned to have a celebration and have Haejin's family and grandmothers witness her getting married.
