We found our forever

It all began February 2023. Hadley was a new grad nurse in the busiest ER in the city. There, she met Elihu, an EMT. One night, he approached her while she was charting alone. He commented on her badge reel that matched a sticker on his water bottle. Hadley thought he was a weirdo, but was also intrigued. Later that same month, they became flirty , and even exchanges numbers to buy breakfast tacos for each other at the cafeteria. Elihu kept the conversations going, and Hadley made him laugh in triage. When Elihu was working and Hadley was off, she had the idea to bring him tacos at work. When she arrived, he came out to the car and asked her out. Due to the excitement and nervousness, Hadley did not even respond, just giggled and told him to keep it on the down low (hospitals are nosy). Their first date was a week later at North Italia, then got boba together and played games. During the date, Hadley went to the bathroom and called her sister, saying “I think I am in love”. She was right. Three weeks in, they both said I love you, and truly meant it. The past 3 years have had constant growth in their relationship . They respect one another, their interests, and are each other’s number one supporter. Life is more fun when they are together.
