FAQs

Here is a list of FAQs that might provide some helpful answers. If there are any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us!
Question

If we're looking at Airbnbs or hotels, what neighborhood should we stay in?

Answer

With Nashville being the destination city it is, there are plenty of great options throughout the city! Areas we recommend to look in are East Nashville, The Gulch, 12 South, West Nashville, Sylvan Park, Wedgewood Houston, and South Nashville. With the Grand Prix happening this weekend, we'd recommend avoiding staying directly downtown (close to Broadway).

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Nashville has little to no public transportation. For getting around town, Ubers and Lyfts are readily available throughout the city. If you choose to rent a car while you're here, there will be parking available at our venue. However, if you plan on drinking at our wedding, we highly recommend ride share!

Question

What is parking like at the venue?

Answer

Our venue does offer parking. Guests with their own vehicles will be directed where to park upon arrival. The barn itself (where both the ceremony and reception will take place) is a short 2-3 minute shuttle ride into the woods. Cars will not be easily accessible once you're at the venue, so please bring everything you'll need with you.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your kids, we want this night to be a special one for just our adult friends and family. We hope you understand!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes. If not, then no.

Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30. Please arrive between 3:30-4:00.

Question

Can I smoke at the venue?

Answer

Smoking is allowed on the outside concrete pad where the ceremony will be held (but please refrain until after the ceremony!). Please note that smoking marijuana (which is still illegal in Tennessee), is not allowed at all on venue property, per the contract we signed with the venue.
