We met at Salisbury University at a highlighter party thrown by my fraternity. I saw two girls standing together so I walked over to introduce myself. I made friends with one of them, but I could tell the other was not interested Well, nothing came of that night but only years later the "girl not interested" and I matched on a dating app. She never messaged me, but me having a great memory (or so I think), I remembered we were already friends on Facebook, and that I remembered her from college. So, in her words I did a little FB "stalking" liked a few of her photos etc. WELL, this must have worked because sure enough I finally got a message from her and we started to talk. Small talk at first about what we did for work, where we were from, and that we both went to Salisbury. We even found out we both went to Dulaney High School and graduated together in 2009. Eventually she grew tired of FB messaging, so she gave me her phone number ( yes she claims to have made the first move) and we began to text. Well, her not a fan of texting very much and giving one word answers, I still kept trying. Something was different about her. Then one fateful day it snowed, I had off work and she had no classes, so I suggested we hang out and watch Harry Potter. She said yes, but first napped for about 5 hours- long enough to think she was going to leave me hanging. She didn't and we watched the movie ( it took almost twice the time it should due to having to answer her questions-) she made dinner, I brought wine, and we talked the whole evening. From Harry Potter we moved to New Girl and binged the newest season. In that evening something changed and something felt different this time. She won't believe me, but I knew then, this was the girl I wanted to be with everyday. And now here we are, getting married.
