Question

What's the best way to get to Knoxville?

Answer

If you are flying in for our wedding, we recommend that you fly into McGhee Tyson Airport, right here in Knoxville. If this is not an option, you could look at flying into a larger airport in a nearby city (we recommend Nashville, Atlanta, or Chattanooga). Keep in mind, these options will require car rental and additional drive / transportation time.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We recommend that you check out our "Travel" tab. There, you will find more specific information regarding room blocks and recommended accommodations. However, should you choose different accommodation options, that's totally fine! Our wedding events will primarily be located in downtown Knoxville / the "Old City." We recommend booking downtown for ease and convenience. If this is not an option, try the Northshore / Papermill area (right off the interstate and a 10-minute drive to downtown).

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be a formal, black and white affair! Men are encouraged to wear dark suits (with ties) or tuxedos. Women are encouraged to wear mid-length or full-length gowns. To compliment the wedding scheme, we recommend that you wear dark or muted colors. Examples of dark or muted colors include black, gray, and navy, to name a few.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

To allow all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and enjoy themselves, we have limited the ages of children invited to the wedding and reception (with the exception of our flower girls). We kindly ask that you respect this and only bring those who were named on your invitation or Zola RSVP. Should you need help securing alternative arrangements for your little ones, we can connect with you some fabulous babysitters!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding events are RSVP-only. We kindly ask that you respect this and only bring those who were named on your invitation or Zola RSVP. *If your invitation is addressed to you and a guest, please feel free to bring whomever you'd like!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony be a "no phone" zone; let's leave the photography to our girl Kelsey so we can all be present for this special moment. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage you to take all the videos and pictures you want! When posting to social media, don't forget to tag us and use our wedding hashtag. We can't wait to see the special moments you capture!

Question

Transportation to and from wedding festivities

Answer

If you plan on consuming alcoholic beverages at any of our wedding events, we ask that you use Uber, taxi, or Lyft. Should this not apply to you, there are parking options near and around the venue. Please note, while most of these lots require payment, many of them become free after 6pm.
