Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 PM. We kindly recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to find your seat and settle in before we begin.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Unplugged Ceremony We kindly ask that you join us in the moment by putting away phones and cameras during our ceremony. Please enjoy taking photos and videos during the cocktail hour and reception!

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Parking for Egner Chapel Free parking is available in Muhlenberg College lots along Chew Street, N. 23rd Street, and N. 26th Street. Follow campus walkways to Egner Chapel in the center of campus. The small lot beside the chapel is reserved for wedding party and guests with mobility needs.

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Self-parking at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem for overnight guests is $10.00 plus tax per night. Additional parking is available in the Colonial Industrial Quarter when available at no charge and at the Spring Street parking lot, from which a shuttle will run. Also available is the North Street parking garages at your expense.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

To honor the elegance of the evening, formal attire is requested. Tuxedos and dark suits are graciously welcomed. Floor-length gowns or refined ensembles befitting the occasion are encouraged.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love all the little ones, we ask that this event be adults only.

How far is the ceremony location from the reception?

Answer

The ceremony to the hotel is 11 miles. Due to the holiday season and high trafficked area surrounding the hotel please allow ample time for driving, parking, etc.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” you’re welcome to bring a date! Otherwise, we’re keeping things intimate and can only accommodate those listed on the invitation. Thanks for understanding!
