Our story began miles apart. I was born in Bahia, Brazil, while Gabriel is a native Floridian! As a child, I always told everyone that I would love to move to the U.S. one day. Thank God, He opened the doors for this to happen. I was born and raised in a Christian family, and so was Gabriel. When I moved to Florida, I needed to find a church to be part of, and it was at this church that we noticed each other! Our first date was really fun and unexpected. We had planned something different, but things happened, and we ended up at a Starbucks, preparing a lesson for the kids' service about “God’s timing.” Our paths seemed worlds apart, but God had other plans for us! Since then, we have been learning with God that even when we don’t understand, everything happens in His time and according to His will. We’re really excited to begin writing our chapter together and to see what God has planned for us!
