We’re getting married!

We met a long time ago! What started as a strong friendship in the beginning, has turned into a strong loving relationship now. I think being friends first has made our relationship so strong and is what has made it last so long! Pat has been my rock and has saved me in so many ways. He always finds a way to make me smile or laugh each and every day! Im so lucky to have someone to share my life with that I actually enjoy being around... as well as having someone to help me raise my beautiful daughter! ❤️

Pat is always making me laugh and playing around... so one day im doing laundry, putting away clothes (of his) while he was in the shower. I open up the dresser drawer and find the box with the ring inside. I immediately closed the drawer without putting the clothes away and texted my best friend and asked her what I should do. At this point, my heart is racing and I can’t keep a straight face lol. My bestie told me I should act like I never seen it (so hard to do with the look on my face)!!! Pat gets out the shower, gets dressed and goes into the living room to watch tv. At this point, I was hoping he would put his own clothes away, but he deliberately left them on the bed 🤣 I quickly put them away and then joined him to watch tv. He then decides hes going to bed... so do I. He turned over and faced the opposite side of me. I was hoping he was going to fall asleep quickly, there was silence for a minute or two.... He then asked if I went in the dresser drawer. At this point, im trying to hold it together lol. I told him I did just to put his clothes away. And then he said... Katie, I know you seen it... the box was moved! 🤣 I busted out laughing and he told me to go get it. So I get out of bed to turn on the light and grabbed the box out of the dresser and opened it up. Now, Pat has always said that “times are new, and you need to ask me to marry you!” I always replied to ohhh no you dont, you will ask me like a man is supposed to lol. I opened the box, and asked him what the ring meant... he said what do you think. I told him he still needed to ask me, he then said “ask you what?” (Still trying to make me ask him) He then finally popped the question. We laughed so hard about how I was acting before we went to sleep. He knew the entire time 🤣 He knows me so well!!! I also told him that I texted and called my bestie and asked what I should do... thanks Tia 😘 Our engagement wasn’t romantic, and I wouldnt have it any other way! ❤️💍 Looking forward to FOREVER!
