It all started when Keenan and Garrett were hanging out in the dorms. Keenan was scrolling through Facebook and Garrett glanced over for a second and noticed a beautiful woman that had changed her profile picture. Garrett told him to go back and asked who it was. He told him who it was and Garrett said, "Tell her I said whats up". She said hi back and they proceeded to talk after exchanging the infamous "Snapchat". They then made plans for Keenan to introduce them. They met in Winslow to go on a date. The first date started at a Denny's and ever since then, they have been writing their happily ever after.

After 4 years together, Garrett decided to pop the question. It all started Christmas morning when everyone was getting ready for the day. Garrett had showered and got dressed nice and was trying to convince Kayla to shower and get ready for the big day. She consistently refused and insisted to open gifts. Finally after convincing her to get ready, she showered and got dressed. All of her family was gathered and opening gifts and Garrett could not sit still. Kayla had no idea what was coming. Her mother asked her to help fix her hair. It was game on after that. Garrett, her dad, and her sister knew what they had to do. Garrett tied the ring to Leia (dog), Nathan and Taylor put a wooden heart around Luke (dog) that said "Will you marry our dad?". Trying to get set up with two hyper dogs didn't work out when Kayla walked around the corner to see both dogs and Garrett on one knee trying to hold still. Garrett popped the question, Kayla started crying, dogs ran everywhere, and it was time to celebrate.
