The universe has impeccable timing and often brings people into your life at a time you don't even realize you needed them. We met as coworkers, and Matt's first words to Amanda were about mocking where she grew up. Not the best tactic for someone you immediately felt feelings for. I believe it can be forgiven, after all, we were young and still growing into the people we are today. The people we still strive to be everyday, to be worthy of each other's love. After the first meeting, we found times to share a beer after a shift and eventually made it to most gatherings together as friends. We slowly worked to make each other more than friends, often after some liquid courage. We grew together and spent time seeing each other and airing out all the emotions of being in your 20s. We will always look back so fondly on meeting for coffee, for there was a time it was the only way to have each other in our lives and forge the bond that has us here together today. Matt was the one to admit his feelings first. After that point, it was a no nonsense path to becoming a couple. Amanda has a fierce and driven personality and I (Matt) feel she thought I was worthwhile, so she laid it all out and asked, "where is this going?" I did tell her I loved her first, for the record. That personality is what drew me in, and I was head over heels within the first month. After all the courtship, we wanted to have our own home to share and decided to move in together. Another example of the universe pushing us together, both of our living situations just happened to line up a little under a year after making it official. After sharing our home and our beloved dog, we made the decision to move to Colorado. It was a new adventure and exciting chapter for us. With all those plans to move, we had to make all the arrangements for a wedding, and it has been a whirlwind to say the least. We are so excited to invite everyone to come celebrate with us and hope for many more years that bring adventure, late night chats, and this wonderful life we've built together.
