Is the ceremony outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The plan is to have our ceremony outdoors if the weather cooperates! A few light blankets will be available for guests who may request one. There is an indoor ceremony plan if the weather does not cooperate!

When should I arrive at the Garrison?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm so we ask that guests have found their seat at the ceremony site before then.

What's for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be a plated meal. The Garrison staff will be taking orders when guests arrive to their tables.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel?

Answer

Yes. We will have busses providing transportation to and from the Hyatt House Fishkill/Poughkeepsie. The busses will leave at 3:15 pm sharp so please be ready a few minutes early. The busses will be leaving The Garrison to go back to the hotel at 9:30 pm. If you wish to end the night early you can check apps like Uber and Lyft or take your own vehicle. There is plenty of parking. Please do not drink and drive.

As much as we would love to invite your children, this is an adult only affair unless otherwise specified.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our goal is to keep our very special day as intimate as possible and for that reason, the celebration is welcome to only those listed on the invitations but we will be sure to seat you with people you know and love!
