We actually met at work months before, but it was May 2017 when we first got to know each other better. We separately joined some of our mutual work friends at a Brewers game in Milwaukee. After a great day of tailgating and few games of hammerschlagen, we both knew this was the real deal. Sports alliances aside, we shared the same love for music, food, puppies, and family. It didn't take either of us long to realize we had found our person.

On a beautiful Florida morning, I woke up to Kyle standing at my bedside. He had brought me some OJ and thought he was going back to the kitchen to make me breakfast in bed. But I abruptly woke, and he stood their frozen. He paused for a minute, and I could see that he looked nervous. He reaches for his phone, and our song began to play. The proposal was simply perfect; just the two of us, completely unexpected, and at one of the greatest places on Earth. We took our excitement and headed to Disney World to celebrate!
