Hannah and Kevin matched on Bumble in May of 2019 and met up for their first date at an ice cream shop in Denver. The date was… fine—not bad, but nothing to write home about. After a couple of weeks of texting, the conversation fizzled out, and Hannah assumed they had mutually ghosted each other. But a few months later, Kevin reached out again to ask her out. Hannah agreed, intending to cancel—but then forgot. So they met for that second date at a local brewery and it was wonderful! From there, they spent the summer getting to know each other—hiking, watching movies, playing games, and sharing a lot of laughs. In December 2019, Kevin met Hannah’s family for the first time. When the world shut down in 2020, Hannah and Kevin spent most of their time together in a bubble that included Kevin’s good friends and housemates, John and Melinda. Those early COVID days were filled with quality time, homemade meals, game nights, backpacking trips, and plenty of time outdoors. Later that spring, Hannah met the Hartmann family for the first time! The years that followed brought even more adventures—skiing, hikes, family gatherings, moving in together, and eventually, a proposal. Now, Hannah and Kevin are so excited to celebrate their wedding day with the people they love most, as they begin the next chapter of their journey together.
