Jp and Megan first met at Winona State University where they both went to college. Coincidentally, they lived on the same block just two houses a part.

Following college JP moved to the twin cities and Megan went to graduate school in Menomonie. Megan would frequently visit the twin cities to hang out with friends. JP was often among the friends that would be getting together. Somewhere along the way JP and Megan realized that they were more than friends and went on their first date February 14th, 2020. They made it “official” on April 19th, 2020.

After 3 years of dating JP popped the question on October 27th, 2023! They got engaged at Prairie Bluff Conservation area in Eden Prairie.
