Hayden and I somehow met on Tinder. Hayden had set his location to Ketchum, ID thinking that it was the town where he would be going to lineman school. Turns out he wasn't even close to where he was going to school. He was off by about 2 1/2 hours and 122,000 people smaller of a town. In that short time that Haydens location was set to Ketchum, we matched. He later on told me the night he messaged me our conversation was shown on the TV at his sisters house with his mom and sister watching us text back and fourth. Soon after our Face Time journey began. We stayed up later and later each night asking questions, telling stories, and slowly falling in love. An antsy 2 months later Hayden came up to Idaho for the first time. The nerves were through the roof as I watched him pull up into the driveway and slowly get out of the car. During this weekend we headed to the top of Bell Mountain in Bellevue on our side by side. This is the place where we both felt overwhelming peace. We were able to watch the beautiful sunset while both thinking to ourselves that this could be our forever. Traveling back and fourth became routine for a few months. We both made the effort to see each other often to grow in the love we found. Sooner than I could have ever Imagined Hayden decided to move to the Valley and begin a life alongside of me. We both gained a fresh start full of love, healing, and joy for our journey. Hayden swooped me off my feet and showed me how I deserve to be loved and reminded me of who I am.

The first time I came to visit, Kate said that we should go and catch the sunset at a cool place she knew. So we hopped in the side by side and headed out the canyon. On the way out I asked where we were headed and was told to just wait and I would figure it out. When we got close I was taken back by the beauty of the valley as we were approaching the top of Bell mountain. This was an October evening so it was cold but it didn't feel cold sitting next to Kate. We got to the top to see one of the most amazing sunsets I've had the pleasure of seeing. Sitting on the ground with my arm around Kate, we watched until it was dark. After this adventure we had together I knew that she was the one. So when the time came and I reached out to Sarah, there was no doubt in my mind where I wanted to ask Kate to marry me, Bell mountain. It took a few months to get everything in order and for all of the snow to melt to be able to reach the top, and the waiting was not easy. But the plan was finally coming together and the perfect opportunity came where all of Kate's family was going to be in town at the same time ( two brothers that live in different parts of California ). While very impatiently waiting for the ring to be made, Sarah and I came up with the perfect plan. She was going to ask if we would go out on the side by side with them because they hadn't been out yet this summer. Once I picked up the ring the plan came together and she took the bait perfectly, we made our way up the canyon and the pre planned suggestion to go up to the top of Bell mountain was decided. We got to the top and Sarah and her husband Spencer asked if we would take a picture of them, so as I was taking the picture with the ring in my hand nervously sweating, Sarah then asked if we would want a picture to which we agreed. Once in position I got on one knee and asked "Kate will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Jumping up and down she said "YESSS!!"
